Human Trafficking: Understanding the Complexities, Indicators, and Harms

Helen Ahn Lim, Ph.D. and Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Cal Lutheran will discuss the complexities, harms, and indicators of human trafficking, highlighting the impact on the AAPI Community and other vulnerable populations.

Dr. Lim will also emphasize how human trafficking, a human rights violation, is one of the fastest-growing criminal enterprises across the globe, prevalent in the U.S. and Ventura County, and how we can all participate to help educate and eradicate human trafficking.
